Day 4's Fort Myers Beach Exploration

Today was another full day of exploring, but this time on Fort Myers near Fort Myers Beach, Bonita Springs, and Lovers Key. We've never fully explored what this area has to offer since two years ago when we came it was stormy weather. However, today we found a few good places to eat and spend some time on the beach.

We were about to come here for lunch but since it only had outdoor seating, and it was SO hot, we decided to look for another place to grab some food.

Good view of the ocean and yummy food!

A huge ice cream cone! YUMmmMm

There's a free train that will drive you to the beach and then back to the parking lot!

This was rather nerve racking...

Love this! You're able to see what shells you can find at Lovers Key State Park Beach
We went to Island Pizza for dinner today, delicious. Only bad part is they don't get as much business as they could since the inside is smaller than the amount of people who want to eat there. They could easily expand and do well. My recommendation is they should strongly consider it, especially for high season.

One of the busiest pizza places I have ever been too, but the pizza's great! Worth the wait.

Shot off the rocks on Blind Pass in Captiva.

Little shell on the rocks.

Sun starting to set. Love the sunsets on Captiva.

The sunset made the beaches and ocean look pink.

Love this one! :)
