Essentials for a Beach Road Trip

This post was inspired by Turo's Road Trip Essentials campaign. Turo (formerly RelayRides) is the nation's largest peer to peer car rental marketplace, with vehicles in over 2,000 cities and 300 airports connecting people who need a car with owners whose vehicles would otherwise go unused. Rent by the day, week, or month. Striving to inspire adventure while putting the world's one billion cars to better use, and also benefit the environment through reduced greenhouse gas emissions, reduced congestion, and reduced dependence on oil.

I'm heading to the beaches of Sanibel and Captiva, Florida this week! Vacation is calling my name, I'm so ready to stop worrying about work for a few days and relax under the Florida sun shelling with my toes in the water and a drink in my hand ;) You can be a part of my journey to paradise by following on my Instagram account, @ArtSeaChic.

Last year for my birthday I bought myself a new champagne colored 2013 Honda Accord. My family is pretty loyal to Honda. We've always received excellent maintenance service, the sales guys are better (less pushy) than the majority of the other car brands we've considered, and we find them to be reliable for a great driving experience. I used to have a grey Honda Civic that had an all black interior - talk about the HOTTEST summers ever driving in that car, essh I was determined to get a light interior in the next car after that experience. Luckily my dream came true, ha!

I always keep my car stocked with a few must-haves for when I'm on the road. Some things I just can't live without, some are travel necessities, others are unique to destinations I'm headed to, and some might be easily forgotten if a list isn't made before packing. I'm giving you an exclusive peek into what will actually be with me during my trip!
