Harry Potter Craze on Sanibel Island : Day 7

Yesterday for the first time we went to the Sanibel Island Cinema to see Harry Potter! Even though the physical building looks small on the outside, inside it is reasonably roomy and feels comfy. Popcorn was great, and pricing for snacks was reasonable. Tickets per person were $10, so it is a bit above average. Overall, the experience was good. We would go back to see another popular movie if we were on the island.

We got these coupons for free popcorn at the Sanibel Island Chamber of Commerce welcome center!

There was already a line for the 5 p.m. Harry Potter movie at 4 p.m.!

Drink and snack bar with a great variety. Popcorn was REALLY good.

Seating inside the theater is about 4-5 chairs per row, so I'd make sure to be on time for good seats. The screen is as big as you see it here below, it does not expand, but the movie picture and sound were fine.

One thing that could be improved here is pre-movie advertisements about businesses on the island or upcoming new movies, there was only about 2-3 ads played in the whole 30 minutes we waited. This could bring in extra money for the theater and for local businesses - great investment I think.

After the movie let out, we went to the Sanibel Grill for dinner right down the street. This was also our first time visiting. The pricing was SO good for the meal plus desserts we ordered, just about $60 for five people. The food was amazing, I'd highly recommend it.

Inside waiting to be called to our table. Looking at all the MANY old pictures and plates on the walls!

They have a couple large screen TVs to watch sports games while enjoying your meal. Staff gave us great service.

The tables are covered in old game tickets and various passes, really neat.

And now to our AmAzInG desserts we ordered...

Vanilla ice cream, strawberries, chocolate syrup. :)

The chocolate cake turned out to be big enough for all five of us to share together!

Chocolate ice cream. :)

Strawberry sherbert ice cream. :)

We left the Sanibel Grill very satisfied and full! If you're on the island, check it out with your family!
