What to Expect on a Cayo Costa State Park Cruise

Early morning today! We had to meet Captiva Cruises "Salty" cruise boat and our captain, Jack at 8 a.m. for our 3 hour round trip to Cayo Costa State Park for dolphin watching and shelling. Lots of fun and got to meet some great people!

Oceans Reach's shell identifier! Very helpful.

Oceans Reach has a shell cleaning station outside, which comes in handy!

Our boat for the day!

Really nice beach houses off the Red Fish Pass area.

Everyone docking and setting up chairs and umbrellas on the beach!

We're snorkeling, flags up!

The crew getting back on board after a fun time snorkeling and exploring the beach!

When snorkeling sand dollars were found near the rock barrier about 5-8ft below the ocean.

On our way back, we saw dolphin swimming in our wakes! The cruise was very laid back and we'd highly recommend for you to go on one too.
