What to Pack When Visiting the Abacos Islands

Your heart is set on planning a vacation to the Abacos Islands in the Bahamas - get ready for a memorable adventure! If you've been following along, you'll remember we took our honeymoon to the islands back in mid-June 2017, but if you didn't catch it, read about our stay here.

None of our family or friends had visited before so we had to do some research to find out what would be best to bring and what we should buy once we arrived. We watched YouTube videos, read various blogs and also got great advice from the owner of Serenity Cottage where we stayed.

What to Pack When Visiting the Abacos.jpg

The packing list below is based on staying at the cottage, so if you choose to stay somewhere else, review what your accommodation provides and the activities you want to do in advance. Set a budget for how much you want to spend on your trip, plane tickets and accommodation included, so you can plan accordingly. We were able to keep costs below $3,800 for everything (it's possible)!
